Studio Sony nie tyko opóźniło premierę dwóch kontynuacji Spider-Mana uniwersum, ale także zmieniło tytuł trzeciej części, która trafi do kin 29 marca 2024 r. I tak Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Part 2 od teraz jest zatytułowane Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Akcja Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Part 1 rozgrywa się w jednym uniwersum, za to Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse aż w sześciu. Premiera pierwszego z filmów odbędzie się 2 czerwca 2023 r.
